Join Kaileia Étaín Melusine Suvannamaccha, also known as The Princess Poetess, is a published author and literary artist. Her raw, reflective poetry, short stories, essays, and other written works explore the intricacy of human perception and depth of emotion—winning contests and appearing in both print and online publications, including Sarasota SCENE Magazine. Awarded Trustee Scholar for Creative Writing, she earned her BFA and two minors from Ringling College of Art and Design. Her debut poetry collection, "In Time I See," was published in November 2023. As a certified therapeutic art & writing coach, she facilitates creative and therapeutic writing workshops for individuals as well as groups and co-hosts a weekly open mic poetry night at Stardust Café as part of The Triple Goddess Alliance.
In The Mermaid Magic Workshop, you will examine basic storytelling elements and structures to help you navigate your innate hero’s journey.
Dive into short readings and guided writing prompts aid in your inner exploration and reclamation of the mermaid archetype. By the end of the workshop, you will have crafted a personal legend and/or siren song that calls you back home to your true self!
Participants can expect to:
-Identify their emotions and practice channeling them into creative writing
-View themselves as the main characters/protagonists of their life stories
-Revisit a memory and rewrite it from a place of empowerment and personal responsibility
