About this Event
Meridian Yin:
A gentle, meditative practice that integrates the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with the deep stretches and poses of Yin Yoga. This class focuses on stimulating the body's acupuncture meridian lines, which are energy pathways that run through the body, by holding postures for extended periods. By targeting these meridians, Meridian Yin Yoga helps to balance and enhance the flow of Qi (vital energy) and blood, promoting overall physical and emotional well-being. The benefits of combining meridian theory with yin yoga include improved flexibility, reduced stress, enhanced circulation, and the alleviation of tension and blockages in the body, leading to a more harmonious and balanced meridian system i the body.

MyoYin:
MyoYin is an innovative practice pioneered by Jo Phee that blends myofascial release techniques using therapy balls with the slow, meditative stretches of Yin Yoga. This combination targets the connective tissue and fascia, helping to release tension, improve mobility, and enhance overall flexibility. By integrating myofascial release ball rolling, practitioners can pinpoint and alleviate specific areas of muscle tightness and knots before engaging in the deep, sustained poses of Yin Yoga. This synergy not only amplifies the benefits of both practices but also promotes a profound sense of relaxation, better circulation, and a more balanced, resilient body.
Note: While 2 tennis balls will be provided for all participants' use, for hygiene purposes, please bring your own balls.
