Mercy Health's Mobile Mammography Unit is coming to the Locke Branch Library on (W) Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Patient eligibility:
· Must be at least 40 years old
· At least 365 days since your last mammogram
· Cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
· Should be able to walk up and down stairs and stand unassisted
· No history of breast issues, such as nipple discharge, lumps, pain, or cancer in the last two years
You may be eligible for financial assistance if you are uninsured or have a high deductible. To see if you qualify, contact the Breast & Cervical Cancer Project at: 1-800-929-6626. Walk-ins are welcome but are subject to availability. To schedule your appointment call 833-MAMM-VAN (833-626-6826).
