Join Dave Sims & Brett Daugherty for a weekend of rewilding.Like our environment, which is forever altered due to human intervention, Human nature has also been irrevocably shifted. Rewilding isn’t about trying to go back to living as hunter-gatherers. Rather, it is about examining our cultural paradigms, seeing how they affect our physical, mental, and emotional health, and reclaiming our birthright as human beings.
By learning to live consciously in the world, we not only live more fulling, vibrant lives, but we literally change the world we live in. Rewilding seeks to empower individuals to recognize their full potential by dissolving the barriers between us and nature.
This weekend of Rewilding & Restoration will offer paradigm-shifting tools that include:
Storytelling – The power of story as a tool for healing and change.
Calling in the sacred directions – Honors the land and our ancestors.
Naming ceremony – A rite of passage to declare your sacredness.
Fire ceremony – Cultivating a personal relationship with grandfather fire.
Grief ceremony – Honor loss, engage in self-transformation and begin letting go.
Cleansing ceremony – Washing away what no longer serves us and emerge renewed (similar to a Traditional Sweat Lodge).
Meditation – Finding inner stillness, exploring your inner climate.
Restoring our body, mind & spirit back into balance, cultivating a sacred relationship with land and home.
The event will be held at “The Farm” in Hoopeston Illinois (about 2 hours from Indianapolis.)
