Join this hands-on workshop introducing the Six Steps to effective mentoring and teaching that you can apply immediately on the job with measurable results. Build a positive teacher/learner relationship, communicate clearly, provide useful feedback, communicating knowledge, providing feedback, and lets learners demonstrate new skills confidently.

What You'll Gain:

  • Understand the responsibilities of a mentor and on-the-job leader and create a safe environment for new workers to practice their skills.
  • Learn the six-step approach to teaching skills that includes techniques for demonstrating, evaluating and providing feedback, including intergenerational communication strategies
