The aim of the workshop is to build the capacity of mentors to support less experienced Montessori teachers through ongoing professional learning embedded in day-to-day practice. This has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes and assists the school or centre with human resource challenges.

Types of mentoring relationships
-Communication skills – including giving and receiving feedback
-The role of a coach versus a mentor
-Dealing with challenging workplace situations/people
-Staff appraisals/evaluation – some methodologies
