We believe that mentors are the backbone of schools, and that mentoring is crucial to support teachers at all stages of their career.

Using reflective practice based on the experience of teachers in a range of scenarios and drawing on leading academic research, MentorED provides evidence-based, research-led, practical strategies to deliver mentoring in schools. It’s also a great opportunity to share experiences and collaborate with other mentors.

Our aim is simple: to retain talented teachers in the profession and, ultimately, to improve outcomes for children. We seek to do this by helping early career teachers be supported fully by skilled mentors, and to provide mid-career teachers with a toolkit to build confidence and resilience and prepare them for leadership.

We have an enviable line-up of over 40 speakers from a range of contexts and settings, speaking on a variety of topics. After the welcome and keynote speech from Professor Rachel Lofthouse, you will have the opportunity to choose which sessions best fit your professional development priorities.
