Mentors! WELCOME to Edge4Vets!
Our in-person workshop is made possible you Desert Thunder Squadron and the group's business, government and school partners committed to supporting veteran employment.
Edge4Vets helps veterans translate their military strengths into "tools" for civilian success, then gain connection to decision-makers at partner companies to explore opportunities for good jobs that can lead to great careers - whether they wish to work in Tucson or elsewhere.
As a "workshop mentor" you'll be providing participants, led by transitioning airmen and women from Davis Monthan AFB, but including veterans, National Guard, Reservists and spouses from the community also, with feedback during the training session.
Join us. We plan to offer the workshop in early May at a central location in Tucson, but we encourage you to register now. We'll be in touch with the precise date and location for the session which will start at 9:30am and go to 3pm.
The workshop is conducted by the Human Resiliency Institute at Fordham University in New York which has been offering Edge4Vets in states across the country since 2011.
