WELCOME to Edge4Vets as a "Workshop Mentor"


On Monday, April 22, from 9:30am to 3pm, UMASS Boston will host us for our next in-person workshop sessions.

This MENTOR ORIENTATION video (below) will show you how the program works to support veterans to become "job ready," and the role you as a "workshop mentor" provide to assist them in the learning process:




THREE STEPS to Career Success for Veterans:1. On April 22 business leaders and HR reps (decision makers from our partner companies) will work with our vets in small-groups to help them identify strengths from the military, including Values and Skills, and translate them for the civilian workplace. We'll start participants on a process to create a personal PLAN4SUCCESS to express your strengths.


2. Following the session we'll give vets access to our the Edge4Vets online course for additional support. Through a series of short videos and exercises, the course will guide them to refine their PLAN4SUCCESS from the workshop and finalize it before submittng it to earn a Certificate.


3. Also, we'll give all those who attend the workshop a list of the HR reps from our partner companies, including our workshop mentors, and we'll give you a list of vets.
