About our mentor:
Ms. Whitney L. Stone is a Computer Scientist assigned to the 38 Engineering Squadron as a Cyberspace System Integrator, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. In this capacity she provides cyberspace engineering support to MacDill AFB and Joint Base Charleston, integrating communications and computer systems designed to increase combat effectiveness, providing future focused solutions to Fly, Fight, and Win!
Ms. Stone began her civil service career in 2013 as a STEM Educator with DODEA – Europe, where she taught math, robotics, study skills, and coached cross country. After relocating back to the U.S., she continued her tenure in education with the DAF as a Cyber System Operations Instructor. Her dynamic career has enabled her to serve the Air and Space Forces in various roles such as Information System Security Manager and Network Engineer.
As a CISSP-certified cyber security professional, Ms. Stone bring a wealth of experience and dedication to the field. Her commitment to professional development is unwavering, as she continuously strives to stay ahead in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity. She is passionate about serving others, leveraging her expertise to contribute to the security and success of our nation.
