Sunrise Hike to Snowdon for Men
About this Event

Join #MenTalkUbuntu for a 9-mile guided night hike up Snowdon.

We're back to make this our biggest night trek yet after our great last adventure! We're taking on Snowdon at night, and we'd love for you to join us. Let's add extra significance to this. Participate in our Men's Mental Health Snowdon climb at night by lacing up your boots, grabbing your torch, and heading outside. You will leave the Llanberis street lights with your fellow Men walkers and go into the night's darkness while carrying a headlamp to create a shining path up the mountain. (If at all possible, carry Fairlight with you.)

Through intervention-tailored events for Men and their mental health and well-being, MenTalk Ubuntu offers a well-rounded, men group, high-quality mental health support service. MenTalk Ubuntu provides structured intervention in a secure environment for guys and encourages them to tackle life's difficulties and ambitions while maintaining emotional equilibrium, focusing on their physical health, and doing so with mindful awareness.

You will climb steadily higher up the Llanberis path with the assistance of our knowledgeable crew, leaders, and volunteers. While contemplating your mental health and taking in the breathtaking views of Snowdonia National Park as you make your way down from the mountain, you might have the opportunity to catch the dawn.

You must muster the strength to walk back down the track, despite the early sun's warmth guiding you home. You can have a celebratory breakfast when you reach the finish line.

While ascending Snowdon (1,085m) during the day presents a significant challenge, doing it at night, when we have the moon as our backdrop and headlamps to light our path, adds a new level of accomplishment to this well-known charity journey.

A mental memory of seeing the sunrise over Snowdonia will never fade! We will experience the breathtakingly spectacular mountain range unfolding to provide magnificent vistas as we descend.

On Friday, August 19th, at 23:00 hours, we are leaving by coach last thing for our guided trip to the peak from Dantzic Street, Manchester, M4 4DN (1,685 metres above sea-levels level).

You'll hear from other men, volunteers, and mental health specialists along the road.
