This workshop is designed to expand your student’s emotional capacity by increasing their awareness of their emotions and providing the tools and developing the skills to navigate their inner world.
Session 1: The ABC’s of Emotion
Description: This workshop is geared toward assisting adolescents ages 12-18 develop accurate language for the emotions they experience while also helping them become more attuned to what they are feeling to better identify and communicate their needs.
Session 2: All About Triggers for Teens
Description: This workshop is designed to help adolescents 12-18 their emotional triggers and take the steps to respond appropriately when emotionally flooded.
Session 3: Caught Up in the CBT Triangle for Teens
Description: This workshop will expose adolescents ages 12-18 to the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Teens will practice reframing negative thoughts to create more positive actions and outcomes in their decision-making.
Session 4: Mindfulness & Coping Skills for Teens
Description: In this workshop, adolescents ages 12-18 will be presented with various coping skills and mindfulness strategies to help them regulate and process difficult emotions.
