Mental Skills Workshop: Self-Talk for RunnersThe second mental skills workshop covers self-talk for runners.
We think in words. Words manifest in performance. Self-talk is the internal or external dialogue we experience throughout the day, processing nearly 70,000 thoughts each day. These thoughts and feelings are describing your current psychological state in the moment.
During this workshop, we will go over what is self-talk, the different kinds of self-talk (there are many kinds), and how we talk to ourselves effects our performance. Participants will go through some activities and leave with tools to improve their self-talk.
Coffee will be available to all attendees.
