A friendly social group all with various forms of mental ill health, the peer support group is weekly, with art or themed discussions.
About this Event

This is a FREE peer support group for those with poor mental health of various types, from depression, anxiety, bi polar, BPD, etc. Some weeks we sit and chat, we may take someone off for a one to one chat where needed / asked, if someone perfers to talk separatly.

We aim to have a discussion theme most weeks, but happy to go along with the flow if the discussion changes.

We aim to have a speaker once a month. (We can't always get one, but some months we have had two.)

Second week of every month we have a known local artist, Oliver Bliss, leading the group on Art or Craft.

The group facilitator / leader will give a talk on certain topics to lead into discussions, we may use audio books, podcasts, YouTube, or information from thier own experience or training.
Some weeks we may have board games, if the group wants to make use of them.

We would like to welcome you with tea, coffee, biscuits, sometimes cake - esp on birthdays.
