This Sunday, September 14 at 2pm, we’re thrilled and honored to host a mental health panel discussion featuring former Wilmette resident and author of While You Were Out: An Intimate Family Portrait of Mental Illness in an Era of Silence Meg Kissinger and members of the community living with mental illness. Our own Elaina suggested this event after hearing someone share uninformed opinions about people living at Abbot House, a mental health care facility in Highland Park.
