MENTAL HEALTH MATTERSA FREE community symposium
Presented by indelarts and Redlands Performing Arts Centre
Spend an afternoon with leading mental health and wellbeing practitioners at this FREE community event.
Special guest speakers from The Hey Mate Project and the Get Real podcast will explore topics such as how to harness the power of your mind and change a negative mindset, as well as general tips to boost focus and wellbeing.
Aimee Davies from The Hey Mate Project will present 'Creative Minds, Healthy Lives', focussing on practical, inclusive tools to support mental health and wellbeing in creative and community settings.Key themes will include creative burnout, stress management, resilience, community care and understanding mental health in everyday life.
Pop by the Distracted booth for creative activities throughout the afternoon and explore a variety of support services at information stalls including:
Services Australia, Wellways, Recovered Futures, Kookaburra Kids, Centre Against Sexual Violence, Eating Disorders Qld, Look Who's Talking and more.
