Empowering Adults to Support Young People's Mental Well-being
Join our Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Workshop in Caboolture

Did you know that about 1 in 5 Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year? As mental health challenges among young people continue to rise, knowing how to provide timely and effective support can make a life-changing difference.

This accredited two-day interactive workshop is designed to equip adults with practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to assist young individuals facing mental health difficulties or crises.

Led by a qualified MHFA trainer, you'll engage in insightful discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world strategies to empower your role in supporting young people.

What You’ll Gain:

  • A deeper understanding of youth mental health conditions, treatments, and first aid actions
  • Confidence in recognising warning signs and providing immediate support
  • Practical skills to listen effectively, offer guidance, and encourage professional help

Learn the Five Key Actions of Youth Mental Health First Aid:

  1. Approach – Assess the situation and provide crisis assistance
  2. Listen & Communicate – Offer understanding and reassurance
  3. Give Support & Information – Help the individual navigate their options
  4. Encourage Professional Help – Guide them towards the right resources
