Mental Health First Aid Training
Learn essential skills in this one-day course open to UAH alumni. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you the skills needed to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges. You will be prepared to provide someone with initial support until they are connected with appropriate professional help. This course is free, but space is limited. More details, including room location and course pre-work, will be emailed before the event. This training is conducted by WellStone, Inc, an Alabama non-profit organization that provides behavioral healthcare.
