Mental Health First Aid Training

The Mental Health First Aid two day course will see learners undertake modules tackling mental healths most prevalent diagnosis' to give participants a general understanding of how to respond when encountering a person in need of mental health support with the best possible practice.

Through a mix of teaching, interactive group activities, case study workshops, individual learning, and a reflective workbook, it is anticipated learners will achieve the knowledge to facilitate appropriate help to those in need.

Split into sections, each session builds on the previous, giving the learner the tools to confidently support others with a Mental Health First Aid action plan.

Upon completion of the sessions, and the completion of the accompanying activities presented in your workbook, you will receive a certificate identifying you as a Mental Health First Aider by Mental Health First Aid England.

Please note that to successfully complete the course, and recieve your certificate, you must attend both dates in full in-person:

Part 1: Tuesday 21st January 9am-5pm

Part 2: Wednesday 22nd January 9am-5pm

Location: To be announced but within the Newcastle upon Tyne area.

This Mental Health First Aid course is priced at £325 however for a short period we are able to offer you a place partially funded at £275.

The Mental Health First Aider training, delivered on behalf of Mental Health First Aid England, will take place in Newcastle upon Tyne, with further details supplied closer to the date.
