Overview
The Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace qualification gives learners the confidence to help support mental health within their workplace.
According to Mental Health Foundation, it is estimated that 1 in 6 people in the past week experienced a common mental health problem. Understanding mental health in the workplace has never been more important.
What's Covered?
During this 2-day course, you will cover: -
- Identifying characteristics and features of common mental health conditions
- The importance of your own wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider
- Best practices for employers in relation to mental health in the workplace
- Supporting those experiencing mental health issues at work
- During the course, our trainers will provide an engaging learning experience through the use of video, case studies, real-life examples of mental health issues, workbook activities, group discussions, and much more.
Prerequisites
Before applying for this course, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

Note: To remain an approved Mental Health First Aider in the Workplace, learners will need to update their qualification in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace every 3 years.
