About this Event
MFHA is skills-based training that teaches people how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health or substance use challenge. Similar to physical First Aid and CPR, MHFA helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substane use crisis until professional assistance is obtained or the crisis is resolved. - Help reduce stigma by normalizing conversations about mental health, making it easier for employees to seek help when needed.
- Promote early intervention by recognizing early signs of mental health or substance use challenges and encouraging professional help-seeking.
Who Should Attend
Anyone in a leadership role, Human Resources (HR) professionals, Employee Wellness and Engagement staff, or any employee who is interested in, or can benefit from, learning to recognize signs of a mental health challenge in a coworker and provide initial, nonjudgmental support.
This training is available to Health Matters Members ONLY. SPACE IS LIMITED.
Anyone who registers and then fails to attend, or does not cancel by 12/5/2025, will be subject to a $50 "NO SHOW/late cancellation" fee.
