November Meet-UpDISCUSSION TOPIC: Mental Health & Wellbeing for the Collaborative Pianist
- Acknowledging the mental and emotional strains that a performance career can put on pianists
- What are some practical tips for supporting your mental health?
- How can burnout be prevented overcome? Where to turn for help?
I am excited to announce that Dr. Jessica Koebbe has kindly offered to lead our discussion on Mental Health & Wellbeing for Collaborative Pianists on at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 22nd! We will be meeting in the private room at Homer's Coffee House at 7126 W 80th Street in Overland Park. Grab a drink or snack from the coffee shop and join us for this important conversation.
**There is a booking fee of $45 total for 2 hours in the private room. (This does not include refreshments.) If you plan to attend this meeting, would you mind contributing around $5 to help cover the cost of the private room? Of course, if more than 9 people attend, the dollar amount would be even less than $5. We have averaged anywhere from 5-10 people at our meetings. Thanks in advance!
