If you love to move—whether you're training hard, practicing often, or just enjoy staying active —your menstrual cycle is more than background noise. It’s a natural rhythm that, when understood, serves as a powerful tool that can influence strength, recovery, and performanceIn this workshop led by Laura Potter - restorative yoga teacher, menstrual cycle coach, and former NCAA DIII athlete- you’ll explore how cycle awareness can help you feel more connected to your body and support your goals.
We’ll cover the essentials of:
- Hormonal shifts across the cycle and how they influence energy, mood, and performance
- Ways to adapt your yoga, fitness, or training practice to honor your body’s needs and optimize recovery
- Why rest is not weakness—and how intentional recovery can boost athleticism and long-term wellness
Through an interactive blend of education and guided practice, you’ll gain practical tools to work with your cycle rather than against it—building not just physical strength, but also deeper self-awareness and compassion for your body.
All are welcome and participants are invited to stay for the Restorative class that follows (4:30-5:30 every Sunday with Laura!)
