Men, our world is confused about what it means to be a man. God’s Word is not.
Join us for an eight-session video-based study, Man of His Word by Adrian Rogers. Each session includes a 25-minute video and group discussion that gets straight to the heart of what it means to live as a man of God—faithful in every sphere of life: to Christ, to our families, to the church, and to our calling in the world.

Session 7: CALLED TO LEAD
A Man in the Marketplace
Every man leads someone, whether he realizes it or not. In this session we will follow the brief but powerful story of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:9–10 and see what sanctified ambition looks like in real life. Jabez prayed for God’s blessing, God’s hand, and God’s protection, and the Lord granted his request.
We will talk about leadership as service, not ego, and about setting godly goals in your work, home, and community. You will be challenged to think about your reputation, your influence, and the “mission statement” of your life. This is not about becoming famous. It is about becoming faithful, useful, and intentional for Christ where He has placed you.
If you sense God stirring you to more intentional leadership in your workplace, home, or community, this session is designed to help you clarify your calling and pursue it with courage.
