Christian men, youth, and young adults of the Mendota area are invited the Men's Lent Dinner. Our guest presenter will be the Rev. Josh Ebener of the Northern Illinois Synod, who will help us consider how we might disciple new generations of faith in Jesus (see his bio below). Rev. Josh Ebener serves as Director for Evangelical Mission (DEM) and Assistant to the Bishop in the Northern Illinois Synod-ELCA. As DEM, he is a key resource for congregations and leaders seeking tools and counsel for starting a new ministry or revitalizing existing ministries. His role focuses largely on mission development, evangelism, congregational vitality/renewal, missional vision/planning and shared/ collaborative ministry. Pastor Josh grew up in Davenport, Iowa and has served congregations in Long Beach, CA and West Chicago, IL. He currently lives in Moline, IL.
