You’re invited to the first-ever meeting of Meadowlark Cancer Program's Men's Cancer Group! This group is for men at any stage of their cancer experience - newly diagnosed, in treatment, or navigating life after cancer.
This initial gathering is meant to be informal and exploratory. Rather than starting with a set structure, we’ll spend our time getting acquainted and talking about what might work best for this group as it takes shape.
The main goal of the meeting is to explore how men want to connect—through conversation, listening, silence, light activity, or some combination—and what helps people feel comfortable showing up as they are. There is no pressure to share personal stories, and no expectation to participate beyond what feels right.
This first meeting is simply about creating space for connection and learning together, and seeing what feels useful, supportive, and worth continuing. Join us Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 10:30 a.m. in The Cat Cafe at Sunflower Pet Supply located at 3236 Kimball Ave., Manhattan, Kan.
