Are there times when this nerves-of-steel approach is in our best interest, and that of others we may care for?
Outside of the origins of this philosophy, I invite you to take a deeper look into the ways we as men still work with traits that may seem expected of us, idealized by our culture, & the unspoken agreements of what we "should" be.
This is also an invitation to go beyond the shadow side of what this modern archetype might mean for you - to be empowered by the 4 virtues of stoicism and we will working with these for the flow of the evening. They are:

Men’s Breathwork Event Series
Through the practice of Conscious Connected Breathwork we will strengthen our connection to the body, and deepen our inner wisdom.
Alongside Breathwork we offer you an open space to feel deeply, express freely, and to connect with other men.
By welcoming intensity, and igniting our inner awareness with compassionate curiosity, we can unravel the patterns that may be holding us back from our own vitality.
This is the work that can bring the inner-change needed to help bring meaning back to the world.

Oak Mountain:
Mentor, author, philosopher & facilitator. Founder of The Smiling Human
Oak brings many years of Men's work, group facilitation, and ceremony experience to this space. His work in Men's Mentorship and Communication Coaching offers a unique and empowered voice to guide us back to the center of our power.
His work ranges from his Best Selling Book "What in The Word?", Online Education, to 1 on 1 Mentorship and Coaching.

Wesley Jobe:
Somatic and breathwork specialist. Wilderness Guide in training. Founder of Resonance Breathwork.
Wesley has been facilitating and collaborating in special public events for 10 years. From large outdoor festivals to 1 on 1 private breathwork sessions. He has lead a men's group, taught qigong and meditation, and now brings these all together in immersive retreats as well.
All of Wesley’s adventures have informed the continual unfolding of his path as a dedicated space holder.
