Come and be nurtured and supported through your menopause journey. Kirsten is an experienced life coach (https://www.kirstentrussell.co.uk/) and she will guide you to see that whilst your journey is unique, you will have many questions that she can help to answer. We will weave in nature connection with grounding, reflecting and nurturing activities. Lunch will be provided. Two dates are available.
“LET’S TALK ABOUT THE MENOPAUSE”
Menopause, the last taboo. Older generations never talked about it. It wasn’t taught at school.
It sneaks up on you at a time when you’ve got so much going on in your life. You’re working, caring for children and elderly parents.
You start to notice that life is becoming overwhelming. You’re more stressed than usual. You’re forgetting things, losing everything and can’t focus on anything. Your emotions are all over the place. You cry or get angry at the smallest of things and your family can’t do anything right. Your periods are suddenly erratic. Your anxiety levels are through the roof and your confidence is on the floor.
You don’t really know what’s going on and you don’t know where to turn to get help or who to talk to.
You’re not alone. Menopause is a time of massive change and what you’re experiencing is completely normal. Everything is happening at the same time. You are changing, your life is changing, and it is ok to feel overwhelmed.
Most women will experience some menopause symptoms and 77% of women experience one or more symptoms they describe as ‘very difficult’.
Talking about it helps. That’s why we’d love you to join us for a day of talking, listening, kindness, care, laughter and compassion.
Kirsten, will guide you through a variety of activities to help you feel less alone, supported, more informed and more in tune with what your body needs. You’ll find out about the menopause and what you can do to look after yourself and how to manage the symptoms. You’ll share experiences with others and benefit from shared knowledge, empathy and support. There will be time for self-reflection and most importantly, time for you, away from the demands of everyday life. Time to decompress and work out what you and your body need during your menopause journey.
