Ever wondered why fat loss feels harder during menopause — or why the strategies that used to work just aren’t cutting it anymore?
You’re not imagining it. And you’re not broken.
During perimenopause to post-menopause, hormonal shifts, disrupted sleep, increased hunger, stress, and changes in muscle mass can all impact how and where your body stores fat. The old “eat less, move more” advice? Not the full story.
At this private menopause meetup, we’re cutting through the noise.
I’ll share a short, research-backed presentation followed by open discussion in a small, supportive group setting. This is a space to ask questions, vent a little, and leave with clarity instead of confusion.
At this session, you’ll learn:
• What’s actually happening with fat storage and weight during menopause
• Why your body may be changing even if your habits haven’t
• The high-impact habits that support fat loss without crash dieting
• Practical, sustainable strategies you can start right away
No extremes. No shame. No detox tea nonsense.
Just science, real talk, and simple shifts that work with your body instead of against it.
Your host:
Alixandra Brown is a certified personal trainer, plant-based nutritionist, art therapy practitioner, and menopause coaching specialist who helps women peri to post menopause feel strong, clear, and confident in midlife.
These small-group menopause wellness meetups are designed to be ongoing gatherings where we talk openly about common symptoms and explore simple, effective ways to feel better and reconnect with yourself.
Space is limited to 8 women to keep the discussion personal and supportive.
Come curious. Leave empowered.
