Regular supporter and attendee of the weekly Weds QC Open mic night has now given Menno Willemse the opportunity to open this week's final QC Pass the Hat before it moves venues to The Rising Sun on the junction of Delce Road & King Street, Rochester.Menno, originally from the Netherlands, has now lived in Rochester for several years and plays many well known traditional British Folk songs that he has learnt from his love of the British Culture and local music scene. Considering the fact that English is, of course, a 2nd language to him, his mastering of so many songs from across the centuries of our quirky British ancestry, is amazing.
The QC Hat will go around with any and all donations going to support the local Live music scene's venues and will Help to Keep Live Music Alive via all up & coming local musicians. Use it or Lose it!
