About this Event
Got a garment in need of mending, hemming, or minor alteration? Get advice on how to give your garment and new chapter and learn the basic skills you need to do it yourself!
Nothing to mend right now? We'll set you up with a skill-building sample using traditional techniques, like sashiko stitching, patching, embroidery, and darning, all forms of visible mending that add a unique artistic touch to your clothes.
Drop in at any point or stay the whole time to enjoy some slow stitching in good company.
Included in your registration:
- Individualized mending advice and set-up
- Mini sewing kit (yours to keep)
- In-class access to supplies like fabrics scraps, thread, and notions
Want additional supplies to take home? Add on a "Take Home Supply Kit"!
