GROUP CRAFTING MEET UP: Mending MittensThursday February 6, 2024

Do you know how to mend or add patches? - I don't!
Do you want to learn? - I do!
We've got an assortment of supplies, and we know there are mittens and gloves out there looking to be re-matched or repaired, and rehomed!
So let's work together to fix up a few mittens and make them a little extra special to help keep our friends' fingers warm this winter!
When they're ready, we'll send ready to wear items off to shelters, community closets, and local schools to be shared for free.
*A few specially decorated mittens will be available for sale at local events and retailers to help support costs of this project.
We're collecting mittens at Do Good Rural Rec events now! Throw your mittens in a bag and drop them off at upcoming activities!
How To Help:
- Share clean gently used mittens and gloves - hats and scarves are accepted too
- Help us mend and decorate mismatched mittens - on your own or at a group event
- Sort and match donated mittens and gloves
- Share space for mitten mending community craft nights
