The Canberra Choral Society (CCS) proudly presents Elijah, Mendelssohn’s dramatic masterpiece, as the finale to our 2024 concert season. This rare performance brings together world-renowned bass Teddy Tahu Rhodes in the title role, joined by soloists from National Opera Canberra — Soprano Sonia Anfiloff, Mezzo Soprano Christina Wilson, and Tenor Damian Arnold. With CCS’s 70-voice choir, 100 community choristers, and a 42-piece orchestra, all led by acclaimed conductor Brett Weymark OAM, this is an event not to be missed!
