About this Event
When we come together for community grief work, we build a sacred container – a sudden yet temporary village. The village we become provides safe and fertile ground for us to both bare our souls, and bear sacred witness to our brothers. We become the fire that melts each other’s heart, and the healing light of attention that shines upon our deepest sorrows.
When we return home from ritual, the often solitary work of integration begins. Alone again in the darkness of our shadows, we're met with a new grief… We miss the Village. We long for deeper connections with our brothers. We need help…
Indeed, many of us have felt the collective desire for more time together. Time to deepen our connections, integrate our work, and tend to our souls. We desire more intimacy, authenticity, support, and interdependence. We want to sing, dance, create; and share our gifts with one another.
To meet this calling and hold sacred space for men between the January and March Grieving Man events, we are offering two separate gatherings February - one on Zoom, and one in-person. We are planting these two events as seeds that we hope will blossom into a recurring event held regulary between Grieving Man rituals.
We are the individual glowing embers of grief and the collective fire that needs tending. Indeed, we are the fire tenders. We are you. We are the Village and we are not temporary.
