Memory walks are dementia-friendly guided visits at the Museum of Liverpool, which connect people through conversations about Liverpool’s past.On a memory walk you can explore Liverpool icons like the Overhead Railway, Blackie the rocking horse, and the Colomendy totem pole. Bring a friend or loved one to share memories with, and create some new ones together.
Each walk is led by a friendly member of our dementia awareness trained team, who will use the displays within the Museum of Liverpool to start conversations and help you reminisce about life in the city.
Memory walks last about one hour and can accommodate up to 20 people. For groups larger than 4 people please email [email protected] to book a private date with our team.
The Museum of Liverpool is fully accessible and we welcome visitors who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids to join our memory walks. Please visit our access page for further information to help prepare for your visit.
Tickets are free and need to be booked in advance. Please let us know if you have booked but can no longer attend so that someone else can have your ticket.
