Praween Piangchoompu’s works emphasize simplicity, delicate lines, and the interplay of light and color on the pieces. He narrates through a layered printing process, with each piece taking 20–30 days to complete, reflecting accumulated experiences, memories, and emotions in the artist’s life. The prints offer an atmosphere that viewers might not immediately notice or feel. If attentive, audiences may sense the hidden feelings embedded in the imagery. “Praween’s works are like a personal diary,” recording emotions through color layers and print textures that tell life in both concrete and abstract terms. The exhibition invites visitors to experience the sound of emotions from the colors and light reflected in the woodblock prints.
The exhibition Memory in Layers: A Journey through Emotion will be open from October 4 to November 1, 2025.
