Psychologist Nicole Anderson presents on factors affecting cognition and strategies to improve memory function
About this Event

​Psychologist Dr. Nicole Anderson discusses different kinds of cognitive function changes that are a part of healthy aging, and provides examples of normal memory slips, and not so normal memory slips. This presentation discusses factors affecting cognition, including medical factors, and everyday lifestyle factors, then provides a number of memory strategies that people can use to make their memory function better.

Dr. Anderson is the Senior Scientist at the Rotman Research Institute (Baycrest) and Professor, Psychology and Psychiatry (University of Toronto). She is the author of "Living with mild cognitive impairment : a guide to maximizing brain health and reducing risk of dementia."
