All cadets and friends of the corps are invited to pay their respects to Rev. Fletcher.
A memorial service will be held this Sunday for Rev. Leo Richard ‘Dick’ Fletcher, a Second World War veteran and the longtime padre to the Kelowna branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
The service will begin at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral church of St. Michael and All Angels at the corner of Richter Street and Sutherland Avenue. He died on May 31, age 99. He was Grenville’s former CO and a mentor to many. We will remember him.
