More about DJ Ortiz: DJ Oritz grew up in the basement DJ scene since the 1980s, performing at tons of events including Weddings, Event Parties, Birthdays, Corporate events, Clubs and more. He primarily specializes in House and Latin Music. Not only is he a talented DJ, but he also has been a professional dancer for over 10 years, dancing and teaching as a choreographer at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Ortiz has successfully participated in many professional dance competitions earning 4th and 5th Place in the U.S. Mambo National Championship (Pro), competing 5 times as the Fred Astaire National Champion (Pro), becoming a 5 time finalist at the Fred Astaire American Rhythm Rising Star (Pro), among many other awards and honors as an instructor and performer.
