To mark the end of Dying Matters week, we invite you to join Art Psychotherapist Becky Brereton, and Reiki Master Teacher and Soul Doula Eva Lake in a peaceful memorial mandala making workshop.
After a grounding meditation, we’ll join together to build a mandala in loving memory of those who are no longer with us. Using objects from nature, flowers, photos and mementos, we’ll mindfully remember our loved ones in a safe and sacred space.
We will have a period of silent reflection as we make, but there will be time and space to share stories of remembrance. There will be no pressure either way.
What you Will Need:
Some materials will be provided but please bring along any flowers, objects from nature or personal belongings or photos, that remind you of your loved ones.
Although this workshop is for adults, those 14+ can attend if accompanied by a joining adult. Please message Becky beforehand to discuss suitability.
About the venue:
Studio 6 is on the second floor and therefore has limited accessibility. There is ample free on street parking at the front of the mill and a free carpark at the back.

About Your Guides:
Eva Lake is a Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Healer, Rituals and Ceremonies facilitator, space holder and Soul Doula. Deeply called to honour the ways in which life encourages and forces us to grow, Eva’s passionate about recognising and celebrating all the transitions and changes that life has to offer. By acknowledging and appreciating our emotions, strengths, weaknesses and achievements, we can lead more fulfilling and balanced lives.
Becky is a fully qualified and registered Art Psychotherapist with over 11years of experience supporting both individuals and groups. Becky focuses on individual need and adapts the therapy to create a positive and magical experience while gently exploring any difficulty that rises. Becky is a Trauma informed therapist and helps clients understand and work with their nervous system. In Art Therapy the process is important and will include understanding and working with all the senses in a sensitive and safe way.
