Join us in partnership with the Downtown Shareholders and a host of community organizations as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the beloved Soldiers and Sailors Memorial (Memorial Hall) located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City, KS.On Friday, September 12th, from 5:30PM to 8:30PM, community members are invited to a FREE fun-filled block party honoring the lasting legacy of Memorial Hall.
Join us for a ceremony honoring service members, a night of dancing with live entertainment from the fantastic "Stranded in the City Band", outside sounds from KCK's great "DJ Joe Straws", food trucks, vendors, historical displays, and the unveiling of the newly renovated veteran's legacy rooms. In addition to all the fun, we will be collecting memories from community members to be included in the Memorial Hall Centennial time capsule, which will be sealed at the centennial celebration.
