Hello friends.We will be gathering in Austin to honor the memory of Eleanor Shaw Claiborne.
This will be a celebration of her life and her impact on all of those who knew her.
Austin was her playground, especially after her divorce. She discovered the practice of dance and found her personal freedom by driving around Texas to various dance workshops. Soon after she found ecstatic dance in Austin and drove up from San Antonio almost every week for Sunday morning dance.
Through the dance community, she was introduced to OneTaste and the OM practice, and became the leader of OTAustin. She discovered so much about herself and helped so many others do the same.
Joy, self discovery, pleasure, curiosity, and play were her main modes when she was dancing or teaching here in Austin, and this is the spirit with which we intend to celebrate her life.
Wear colors, bring your memories, we'll dance, share, laugh and cry together to celebrate her.
Light snacks and beverages will be served.��Please bring blankets and pillows to be able to sit outside on the ground
