About this Event
As we honor our nation's veterans & current servicemen this Memorial Day, we want to combine our passions for fitness and community and host this Family Workout!
Experienced athletes and Coaches, Ace, Jon and Danny will lead you through the Murph Workout. There will be 3 different versions of the workout for various skill levels so everyone feels they can participate. :) We are substituting Pull-Ups with Leg Raises because we'll be on a track and lack access to Pull Up bars.
Version 1: 1 Mi Run; 100 Leg Raises; 200 Push Ups; 300 Squats; 1 Mi Run
Version 2: .5 Mi Run; 50 Leg Raises; 100 Push Ups; 150 Squats; .5 Mi Run
Version 3: 1 mi Run; [10 Leg Raises; 20 Push Ups; 30 Squats] 10x; 1 Mi run
What to bring: Water Bottle/Electrolyte drink (strongly recommended); Exercise Gloves (recommended, but not essential); Fresh change of clothes; Visor hat/sunglasses (strongly recommended)
If you are completing the workout, ensure you eat breakfast and drink plenty of water at least 1.5 hours before event.
L ocation: Gaithersburg High School Football Field
If you opt not to complete the workout, you may still come to hang out with fellow friends and encourage those completing the workout! :)
