This Memorial Day weekend, we invite you to pay tribute to those who gave all ??Join us Friday, May 24th, for our annual Memorial Day Flag-In and Monday, May 27th, for a brief Memorial Day service. Both events will be held at the flag pole (located between Section O and Section M) in Cave Hill’s National Section.
On Friday, May 24th, volunteers are invited to help us place flags on every grave in Cave Hill’s National Cemetery, where over 5,500 soldiers are laid to rest. We will meet at 11 am and begin flag placement shortly after.
Monday, May 27th, there will be a short Memorial Day program beginning at 10 am, where we will remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. The service will include a few words from Brigadier General Benjamin F. Adams, III (Retired) and other local dignitaries.
Both events are rain or shine; all are welcome to attend, but please leave your pets at home. For questions, please call 502.813.7761.
