Historic Market Square celebrates Memorial Day weekend with a special 3-day event, May 23–25, 2026 from 10am to 6pm, in honor and remembrance of the military members who served our country. As a tribute, mini-American flags will be placed throughout the plaza.In remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, 50 white roses will be given away daily to individuals who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. The rose giveaway will take place from 1:00 PM–2:00 PM in the middle of the plaza, while supplies last. Recipients must be present to receive a rose.
Enjoy food vendors, artisan and retail vendors, indoor shopping, family fun, and more. Activities include live entertainment and children’s activities for all ages to enjoy.
