Historic Fairview Cemetery invites the community to join us for our Memorial Day observances. The event takes place on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the afternoon. This two-hour event will consist of the formal rededication of both the newly restored veteran burial areas, American Legion Section 1 and Section 2, as well as the Monument to the Unknown Dead.The event will take place at the Monument to the Unknown Dead area, located at the east side of the cemetery. The Dukes of Albuquerque Band will play military music and there will also be a small reception after the ceremony.
