Thank you to all who have been waiting for this announcement. There is now a formal memorial planned for our sweet Mina Bast.We will be gathering in Seattle at OmCulture on Sunday September 29th to celebrate Mina's life in pictures, videos and stories as we share our hearts in her honor.
Mina had a last will and testament- it was her wish that her memorial have lanterns released onto a lake in the Japanese style called Toro Nagashi, coupled with a dance party-- and her friends have worked together to make it happen! Mina was all about grounding, embodiment and bliss- Let's get into it for our sister!
There will be a full-on potluck, please bring a tasty thing to share. After the ceremony we will walk to nearby Lake Union to release the lanterns as a group and then walk back to Om Culture for the potluck and an ecstatic dance party in Mina’s name.
Schedule:
5:00pm Doors open
5:30 pm Ceremony and Sharing
7:00pm Lanterns release and potluck- we will walk just outside OM Culture to the marina to do the lantern lighting and then walk back to potluck and dance.
8-10pm Ecstatic Bliss Dance in honor of Mina!
**Juicy bass-lovely goddess womp music provided by Mina's friend @ Amanda Crews AKA DJ CREWS
