Business Central and ANZ are delighted to present our 2024 Winter Member Briefings.
With the budget delivered at the end of May 2024 signalling a reset in how Central Government will operate, as well as significant policy reforms signalled in resource management, education, immigration, and many others, the Business Central team are here to help you make sense of it all. Businesses continue to face economic uncertainty and headwinds, with ongoing inflation and costs pressures impacting on margins, as well as the added ‘bonus’ this year of local government rate rises adding to the cost pressures.
On the positive side, this Government is committed to changing policy settings to make them work better for business. These events give you an opportunity to tell us about issues affecting your business so we can advocate on your behalf to a Government very keen to hear ideas from business on how to reduce red tape, improve policy settings, and get the economy moving.
