On Saturday 16th October The Melvin Hancox Band make a welcome return to Joe Joe Jims.Melvin has had a varied musical career from securing his first record deal at 16 to forming Joe Joe Jims favourites Vincent Flatts Final Drive and working with Budgie, Man, Tony McPhee, Canned Heat and the Ace Kefford, among many others.
Now fronting his own band – featuring local legend Tony Baylis on drums – the boys play original material along with a smattering of classic rock and blues covers with their own twist, or in their words, “blues/rock played with more psychedelic experience and imagination than most“!
We can guarantee this show will be one not to miss.

We operate a strict social distancing policy with table seating only, contact tracing details required and a table service for all ordering of drinks and food.
Single Tickets (£8.00 + Fees) are available for the event via Eventbrite in advance (or £10pp on the door if there is capacity on the night) and in inline with current COVID guidelines, gigs at Joe Joe Jims are all seated events with Social Distancing measures in place: your seating will be allocated upon arrival at tables containing no more than 6 people.
*Should Government guidance change in the period leading-up to an event we will adapt accordingly and will release more tickets. Should a change in policy impact on any prior bookings, we will get in touch with you and thank you for your understanding.
