Join us for a holistic weekend of Zen yoga, Zen meditation, energy work, and mindful hiking as a way of moving into spring on the right foot. The warm spring sunlight melts the winter ice: not just outside in nature but inside us too. Spring is traditionally seen as a time of new beginnings and offers us a wonderful chance to re-align with who we really are and to develop greater health and success in our relationships, jobs, and spiritual practice. There are many specific practices within the Zen Buddhist tradition that help this melting process along. This retreat will deeply nourish and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit.Please note: this retreat is non-residential. Lodging and meals are not included.

Friday:
6:30-8:30pm: opening, Zen yoga for the spring
Saturday:
(breakfast at home)
8am: meditation
9am: fostering unity practice
9:30am: Zen yoga for the spring
11am: meditation
11:45-3:30pm: lunch (on your own), hiking, rest
3:30pm: Jin Shin for spring
4:30-6pm: energy practices and meditation
6pm: dinner (on your own, you're also welcome to bring your food and eat at our Zen Center)
6:45-8:30pm: reido and meditation
Sunday:
(breakfast at home)
8am: meditation
9am: fostering unity/Zen yoga
11am: meditation
11:45-1:30pm: lunch (on your own), rest
1:30-3pm: integration and clean up
Optional: 4:30-6pm (our weekly Sunday session at Blue Cliff)
